Doc is a fictional character from Disney's 1937 animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He is one of the seven dwarfs and is the self-appointed leader of them. Doc is an intelligent and reliable figurehead to whom the other dwarfs look for guidance, but is sometimes befuddled from his dithering speech pattern based on him spoonerizing certain words.

His job is similar to that of a jeweler who examines gemstones and sorts them by checking to see which ones are valuable and worthless.
