Sam Wilson combats violence and inequality in Harlem not only as a prestigious social worker,[17] but also as a soaring super hero[18] known both as the Falcon[3] and Captain America.[19] Having been secretly manipulated by the villainous Red Skull into becoming a partner to Steve Rogers, the original Captain America,[3] Wilson ended up forging a deep friendship with the star-spangled hero[20] as well as a reputation as a renowned hero by himself.[21] Due to having been affected by the Red Skull's Cosmic Cube,[22] Wilson has been granted the ability to psychically connect with avian forms with life,[23] in special his pet bird Redwing.[24] Constantly having different ideologies and interpretations on various matters, Rogers and Wilson have evolved together by sharing their perspectives.[25][18][26][27] Wilson has served alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers,[28] and, in different moments, assumed the role of leader of the group as a replacement for Steve Rogers.[29][30] Permanently adopting the mantle of Captain America, Sam Wilson has become a symbol for an alternative representation of the country.[19][2] However, he faced several challenges in this role.[31] As Captain America, he was pivotal in combating the empire of Hydra, managing to bring its fall.[32] More recently, Captain America expanded his actions to help the entire world. This made him clash with the vicious White Wolf who thirsted for power.[33]
