The son of a prize fighter, Matt Murdock was blinded in childhood; by a strange twist of fate, the accident which took his sight also honed his other senses and granted him a kind of 'radar sense'. By day, Matt is an Assistant District Attorney for the city of New York, working closely with his friend Foggy Nelson, who works for the city's Public Defender's office. At night, however, Matt dons the red tights to protect the city - particularly the neighborhood known as Hell's Kitchen where he grew up - as Daredevil, whose observed stunts have pegged him with the name "Daredevil".
Daredevil: The Man Without Fear follows Matt's campaign to help clean up the streets of Hell's Kitchen while fighting the forces of those such as the Kingpin and the Hand.
