Indy always had a troubled history with his father, Henry Jones, Sr., also an archaeologist with a lifelong dream of finding the location of the Holy Grail. This obsession has driven a wedge between father and son, and the two have hardly spoken to each other for years. But in 1938, Henry mysteriously disappears while seemingly on the cusp of a major research breakthrough. Now, Indy has to find his father and the Grail, while keeping the Nazis from once again getting their hands on an artifact that could make them all-powerful.
