Description of Taneleer Tivan (The Collector):

Taneleer Tivan is the head of the Tivan Group and the keeper of the largest collection of interstellar fauna, relics and species in the galaxy, which led to his moniker as the Collector. Presiding over Knowhere and its lucrative Exitar mining colony, the Collector established his museum there. In 2013, he was given the Reality Stone by the Asgardians, which sparked his desire to collect the remaining Infinity Stones. The following year, he attempted to purchase the Power Stone from the Guardians of the Galaxy, although these plans fell through.
