Logan Wayne, the amalgam of Batman and Wolverine, was raised by his uncle in Alberta, Canada, when an armed robber killed his parents while he was a boy. Soon after coming to Canada, his uncle, a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, was killed by poachers. Logan was then sent by the RCMP to a convent. When Logan was old enough, he joined Creed H. Quinn in the Royal Canadian Air Force. For the Canadian Super-Soldier Weapon X program, both of them applied. There, adamantium was fused with Logan's bones. Logan decided to adopt the name Dark Claw and combat crime when he returned to New Gotham City after the loss of his loved ones using his new found powers and detective skills.
