After recovering from an attack from Infinite, Sonic and his entire group reunite to stop Infinite from destroying every universe that has Sonic. They will have to travel to the AOSTH universe, go to the Movie universe, enter the main timeline (Modern Sonic), and face even more different universes and timelines of the Sonic franchise, all to track down Infinite and hopefully stop his conquest on the Sonicverse. But they'll also have to face some old enemies from the past such as Mammoth Mogul, Starline, Mephiles, Iblis, Dark Gaia, Enerjak, Black Doom, and even Metal Sonic!!! Description of OG Freedom Fighters Reunite (Short scene):

These are the Freedom Fighters from The Great War in the Dawnverse (minus Longclaw and Armand). Jules, Aleena, Chuck, Amadeus, and Rosemary reunite with a long-gone King Maximillian Acorn and his wife Alicia. They were going to tell them about Longclaw's sacrifice and all that she's done, but Silver, Blaze, Venice and Marine told them all about it. But what surprised them more is that Amadeus got his eye back, Chuck looks like he's in his 60s (even though he says he's only 58), and the Acorns look like they didn't age a day since they "died".
