Description of 73rd Hunger Games [Mars Haspain, District 2]:

Mars had been raised in an extremely pro-Games family even by District 2 standards and entered the Career Academy age 10, shortly after Finnick Odair's victory. His Hunger Games was set in a ruined city that had long ago been called Boston, Massachusetts. In the arena he stood by the usual Career alliance until District partner died in a Gamemaker earthquake on day 6. Following this Mars endured alone in the arena, eventually running into and killing 3 of the others Careers. In the finale he infamously smashed in the head of the male tribute from District 10 with a brick. Kill tally; males for Districts 1, 9 and 10, females for Districts 1, 3, 4 and 8. As of 75 AR he is still alive age 20.
