Description of 6th Hunger Games [Damson Ganges, District 11]:

Damson's powerful physical appearance [191 cm] was complemented by his intelligence and his disdain for violence. During his time in the Capitol arena he attacked other tributes largely only in defense, spending most of his time in the underground tunnels below the arena, where he fought off and killed the boys from Districts 1 and 4 separately. After his final battle against the District 9 boy Damson was returned to District 11 where he took up alcoholism to deal with the Games' trauma. In the next 30 years he mentored Flora Graze and Seeder Quint and became a dedicated member of the rebellion. He died in his sleep age 79 the year of the 66th Hunger Games.
