Synopsis

Either it takes place in Canada or in the United States. Six teenagers get part-time jobs at their local mall where, unless they're on duty, they can be themselves in almost every way possible. There's rivalry, awkward relationships, and other concepts of growing up. Jen, who dreams of becoming an Olympic snowboarder, is spiraling when her single mother dates Jonesy's single father, while Jonesy, who is constantly getting fired from many jobs at the mall, is cool with it.

Description of Nikki Wong (Cynical girl):

Nikki is sarcastic, sullen, and negative. But she's quite loyal to some of her friends. Nikki has been friends with Jen, Jude, Wyatt, and Jonesy since Kindergarten. She has a job as a sales associate at a clothing store called the Khaki Barn. She really hates her job, because she doesn't like working, and her co-worker and manger are like "clones" with shrill voices going "EEEEEEEEEE!" She dreams of travelling the world and writing journal entries of the best places to go. As the show goes on, Jonesy and Nikki start having feelings for each other, despite Jonesy being the kind of guy who will pick up random hot chicks. Overtime, Jonesy realizes that Nikki might be "the one."
