Have you seen Thomas and Friends as a kid? Have you seen PAW Patrol, or do you have kids that watch it? If you have, then you need to read this.

1. Thomas could have been darker in the new millennium with the franchise's first movie in 2000. From a trustworthy source who happens to be a major Thomas the Tank Engine fan, the movie was originally going to have the villain in the movie, Diesel 10, actually and literally and legitimately DIE by being melted, along with a scrapped human antagonist who hates steam engines. But I wouldn't blame them for not using that. It would have been terrifying for youngsters and Thomas fans back then.

2 a. The PAW Patrol franchise started out as a show for kids under 7 or 10, but one known point where it got serious was when the first movie came out and we saw Chase's backstory where it got as serious as his owners ABANDONING HIM AS A PUP AROUND 2 WEEKS OLD, many people almost died in a fireworks accident thanks to a reckless Mayor Humdinger, buildings were set on fire, Chase almost died in a fire, yelled at Ryder for thinking he's not cut out for this, and Ryder almost died while saving someone in a terribly-built building during the storm of storms, and Chase risked life and limb, going Tom Cruise to save him, and almost died from falling off said building!!! Thankfully, nobody died. But that's only the tip of the iceberg!

2 b. There was a video about if fictional villains were charged for their crimes in the Mighty Movie, and the villainess did not care if the people she trapped in a trailer at a junkyard were close to an explosive fire, or if meteors crash into the city, possibly killing innocent people, used electricity to push Chase off of a cliff (I thought he actually died that moment), and Mayor Humdinger coming back to grow as tall as King Kong so he can literally squish the PAW Patrol! He almost killed them and caused terrorism more than twice in a row, and had a puppy in his hands, ready to kill him by squishing him, and then the main character, Skye, destroyed a meteor the size of the Moon and went down to the bottom of the ocean just before she woke up and came back. Thanks to the fact it's supposed to be a family movie, nobody actually died in the Mighty Movie. But Mayor Humdinger had the charge of at least 3 attempted murders. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A PRESCHOOL SHOW!?!?!

As much as I love the franchises, I am just utterly shocked that the studios behind them would ACTUALLY go that far. Any thoughts on this?
