Forums » Questions » Question regarding the spams and inappropriate ads

Seeing the recent surge in complaints about all sorts of ads and spams circulating in the forums AND site as stories, I'm sure you'd have come across it at some point or taken it into account. So what are you guys really doing there? How are you planning to get rid of these invasive ads that take over the screen and render basic functions like searching hard and irritating? Some other active users mentioned about spammers using the same account details and stuff to get back after removal. How are you handling that? And will we ever have a sense of normalcy in this site or have to look for other options?
True, this needs to stop, as these ad spammers have become even wilder to the point of taking over the entire forums and also to the point of promoting inappropriate stuff such as porn and spamming the whole website by making so many promo spams in the form of stories. The only things we could do as of now is just reporting the spams to the admins via private messages and report an error. However, they sometimes ignore it and didn't do anything about it, which is why i think that this website needs new management.
It seems they fixed the problem with the spam and inappropriate ads on the forum, as when browsing as a guest, there is now a banner that reads - "New accounts are not allowed to post to the forum, please wait a few days before contributing."
Nope, there’s a new one: https://www.mycast.io/forums/mcu/topics/tom-selleck-cbd-gummies-price-2023

I can’t even believe these are real products, it’s like meta-spam
That spammer account joined since 5 or 4 days ago. It seems that whoever behind those spammer accounts waited until they were allowed to post on the forums. Because as hitojaf564 says, newly made accounts are not allowed to post on the forums when the account was first made.
