I don't want to be banned or banned from editing photos in future, so obviously I'm rather anxious about the new strict guidelines.

I 100% agree that we should endeavour to only post 'high quality' pictures (although surely there will be some debate as to what constitutes 'high quality', and for what it's worth, I'd argue that pictures that present actors in an unflattering, ugly and aged light do NOT constitute 'high quality'), but what does 'recent' mean? How recent is recent? And where does that leave us with respect to long dead and long retired actors? They won't have recent pictures online.
Please see my reply on your other topic. In general, "recent" means within the past 1 to 2 years. Obviously, actors that are deceased or retired won’t have a recent photo - so use your best judgment to select a photo close to the end of their career. We won't be too strict about banning users unless they are blatantly uploading photos that are inappropriate, or repeatedly uploading full body shots or extremely outdated photos.
