I have not seen all of Across the Spider-Verse, nor am I any longer a liker of Miguel O'Hara because he is a fake Spider-Man. No Spider-Sense, no real webs, had vampire fangs, and wanted to kill Miles when the real threat was The Spot, as far as I know! I grew up watching Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland, and what did they do that Miguel didn't? Allow people to die, even if you can't save everyone. Miguel didn't want Miles to save his dad, even though it is possible. But that's not the worst part.
Spider-Man would never hunt down a teenager just because he's not perfect. Spider-Man would never call anyone a mistake, an anomaly, or a liability. He would never have the intent to kill a kid just because they are not perfect. Miguel O'Hara did all of those things.
And aside from that, he is a multiversal moron. Every choice or decision, and any alternative, a person makes is what makes the multiverse. If you have chosen to pick to go out to a movie rather than read a book, then there is an alternate reality where you have read a book. Miles getting bit by a spider from another dimension is an alternate reality from the one Miguel says Miles had broken. The only threat to the multiverse was The Spot, and Miguel thought Miles was more of a threat than someone who was actually breaking the canon.
Think about this next time you see Spider-Man 2099. He is a murderous, furious jerk who believes that everybody else is a liability or a mistake even though they are actually really awesome and cool.
