I'm trying to add a TMNT: Mutant Mayhem Story, but when I click Submit, it just says "Sorry, stories about TMNT: Mutant Mayhem cannot be added".

Is there a reason behind this?

Tldr: owners of the media reached out to mycast staff and asked them to put a ban on mutant mayhem related stories. Don't ask me why.

I always hated that version of TMNT. It's terrible in my eyes.

Not Lee at all but I feel like this may be something similar to how Fan Fiction dot net has (or had?) with using characters from Archie Comics, Anne Rice, Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb/P.N. Elrod, among others that that site may still have.

Also, I wonder who else also has informed the mods/admins here not to have their works featured on here.

Yeah, FFnet still has those policies installed, but they also have not actually updated their rules since like. 2008. So grain of salt here lol.

Could be the case, but part of me wonders... why here? They haven't exactly enacted any fanwork bans anywhere else I can see. They're not going after people posting Mutant Mayhem fanart on other social media platforms, and mycast isn't exactly "on the radar" so like... Why here?
