For ****s sake, these bot accounts have been spamming millions of stories all day since last week. We can't even promote our stories anymore. MyCast admins, if you're reading this, please do something immediately. We're sick and tired of this ****.

Thank you for letting us know about these posts. We are aware of the increase over the past few weeks. I would like to say that the likelihood that these accounts are bots is very slim. New users are made to verify their email address and go through a Captcha system. These are more than likely people involved in a group that are attempting to scam users on the site. It is true that we were manually moderating and deleting these accounts as they would appear to the best of our ability. Due to the accounts not being bots, there was no simple method of preventing their creation. I had a discussion with the main admin of the site and they worked to add a new system in place that should help prevent the creation and continuation of these spam accounts. Now, this is a new system that requires some manual work, so please be patient as we continue to build this out. Please do continue to inform us of any new spam accounts that do happen to bypass this system as the information will be very helpful in resolving the issue.
