would be nice to add some social media type stuff by allowing us to follow people who's lists we like

Back then, users were able to follow other users and had a recent activity feed as well. But now, idk why they got rid of that in early 2021 (i initially assumed it had something to do with what happened during that time, which was the dark ages of myCast that i don't wanna talk about).

Yeah. That would be a cool feature.
