Colin Farrell In Talks To Play The Penguin, Andy Serkis As Alfred In The Batman

The Batman looks to be adding some big names to its cast as Colin Farrell is in talks to play The Penguin and Andy Serkis might take over the role of Alfred for Robert Pattinson's Batman.

Colin Farrell is a choice no one might have seen coming, but he does a great cockney accent so I imagine it sounding like Nolan North's Penguin the Arkham games. As far as Serkis it would not be out of the realm of possibility that he will play a version of Alfred that has had special forces training and can still handle himself with Bruce Wayne being younger and just beginning his career as Batman.

Serkis will have to play Alfred while also directing Venom 2 with Tom Hardy so he will be splitting Marvel and DC duty. 

The Batman releases June 25, 2021.
