The Dreamer

The Dreamer is a title of Naltorian women who have powers derived from the Dream Realm and use it to protect their planet. This connection gives them access to a number of powers based on dream energy, such as precognition and astral projection. This power is passed down from mother-to-daughter. When Isabel Nal died, she passed her Dreamer mantle to her daughter Nia Nal, a human-naltorian hybrid and reporter at CatCo Worldwide Media, who later became a superheroine in National City. Sometime in the 31st century, Nura Nal inherited the powers from her ancestor Nia Nal, becoming a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Dreamer was created by Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller, first appearing in the Supergirl episode American Alien (2018). Her first appearance in the comics regular continuity was in DC Pride 2022 #1.
