Robert the Robot

Robert the Robot is a CBeebies character, portrayed by actor and puppeteer Steven Kynman (Chris Jarvis starting from the 10th episode of Series 6 when Steve couldn't continue portaying Robert for filming due to personal reasons), who co-stars alongside Justin Fletcher on the CBeebies show, Justin's House, as his butler and friend. He's also known to be a regular on CBeebies Stargazing (a show that airs every 2 years on the channel to educate children on astronomy), co-starring with Chris Jarvis and Professor Maggie Aderin-Pocock on the show. He is intended to be the main comic relief character of the show, but is also there to educate alongside Chris and Maggie throughout each episode he's in (these are what he refers to as his 'missions'). He has also starred in several of the annual CBeebies Christmas Shows/Pantos from 2012 to 2015. His character was altered slightly to fit his role in Peter Pan (2014) when he played Pirate Smee and his role in Alice In Wonderland (2015) when he starred as Mr. Rabbit. From 2016 onward, Steven Kynman no longer portrays any of his roles in the Christmas shows as Robert. Robert also made an appearence on the channel's Prom debut back in 2014. Robert is most notably known for his expertise in dusting, tidying, inventing, music composition on his RMP1 Player and baking cakes - his absolute favourite treat!
