Mick William Lauer (born: December 10, 1980 [age 41]), better known online as Ricepirate, is a Taiwanese-American animator, artist, and voice actor. His channel is known for making parody animations on YouTube. Mick was born in Washington, but was raised in Taiwan. He grew up all around Asia before settling back at Washington. He graduated from the University of New York Tisch School of the Arts and spent a few years training at various acting schools and then studied voice acting under Jan Snyder (Dan Green). Mick is known for being one of NewGround's biggest users. He first became famous after making the animation titled, "Dot Dot Dot." Most of the animations that he has made after involve parodies of shows and games. He is very good friends with other famous animators of YouTube, such as StamperTV, OneyNG, and Psychicpebbles. Notable voice credits include: Leone Abbacchio in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Husk in Hazbin Hotel, Marrow Amin in RWBY, and Percival Wheeler in Lego City Adventures.
