Miles Caton, born in late March 2005, is an American actor and R&B singer who rose to prominence with his acting debut as Sammie Moore in Ryan Coogler’s 2025 supernatural thriller "Sinners," alongside Michael B. Jordan. A musical prodigy, Caton began singing at age two, growing up in a family steeped in gospel music as the son of Timiney Figueroa and nephew of Anaysha Figueroa-Cooper. His powerful vocals earned him early recognition, performing with artists like H.E.R., Yolanda Adams, and Fred Hammond, and appearing on NBC’s "Little Big Shots" in 2018 at age 12. Caton toured globally as a supporting vocalist for H.E.R., performing at the Grammys and Academy Awards, and graduated high school early while pursuing his career. For "Sinners," he learned blues guitar, practicing five hours daily for two months, showcasing his dedication. With a growing discography and a headlining show at SOBs in 2023, the Brooklyn native continues to captivate audiences as a multifaceted talent in music and film.
