Kim Eun-ho, also known as Kim Eun-oh, is a central character in the Korean drama "Arang and the Magistrate." He is the son of a nobleman and a slave, and he has the special ability to see, hear, and touch spirits. However, he often pretends he can't see them to avoid being bothered. Eun-ho travels to the town of Miryang in search of his missing mother, who he last heard was staying there. Initially, Eun-ho is quite selfish and prefers to ignore both the living and the dead. However, his character begins to change as he helps Arang, a ghost seeking justice. Coerced into becoming the new magistrate of Miryang, Eun-ho teams up with Arang to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death. Throughout the series, Eun-ho evolves from a self-centered individual to a noble and just magistrate who seeks to bring justice to Miryang. He affectionately nicknames Arang "Amnesia" because she has lost all her memories.
