Grace Ashcroft (グレース・アッシュクロフト, gurēsu asshukurofuto?) is the daughter of investigative reporter and Raccoon City survivor Alyssa Ashcroft. A timid individual,[1] Ashcroft worked as a technical analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was sent on the orders of her superior, Nathan Dempsy to investigate the most recent of rash of mysterious infections and deaths, the latest of which occurred at the Wrenwood Hotel, where her mother was murdered eight years prior.[2] Prior to this, Ashcroft had no field experience.[3] The investigation eventually lead her to the desolate and quarantined ruins of Raccoon City.[2]
