Ed McVey (born in 2001) grew up on a farm in Devon in southwest England. The actor is a graduate of Drama Centre London, and worked as an usher at London’s Playhouse Theatre before he made his screen acting debut as Prince William in Netflix’s hit series “The Crown.” Previously, he appeared in “Camp Siegfried” at The Old Vic Theatre. He's signed with UTA for representation, and is also repped by Anonymous Content, AHA Talent and Pinnacle PR. He has performed in several plays including Rosmerholm, Government Inspector, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Pains of Youth. One of the deciding factors in getting his role in The Crown was his ability to speak with the RP 'Queen's English' accent. Outside of acting, he enjoys martial arts and kickboxing in his spare time.
