Charles has participated in many school production in primary and secondary education. Charles played a principal role of the scarecrow in Year 6 play of The Wizard of Oz which included a solo. More recently he has taken part in school musical productions of Grease, Evita and currently in rehearsals for Legally Blonde. He has also performed in a number of schools Shakespeare productions of The Twelfth Night and earlier this year, Romeo and Juliet. Charles is currently studying Drama GCSE and has completely a devised piece where he focused on writing, acting and directing a court scene examining the characters of Ursula & Ariel for an assessment. Charlie attends acting lessons at David Johnson Drama in Manchester and has been able to able to perform in the play ‘Punk Rock’ at Hope Mill Theatre. The next project that the group will focus is ‘Spring Awakening’ Both of these productions have contained mature themes and context.
