1975. The summer before they’re headed off for college, four lifelong friends take a nostalgic trip back to the lakeside cabin where they had spent the summer before their freshman year of high school. Upon arriving, they find their old sanctuary dilapidated and abandoned. Disillusioned, they decide drive back home by night. On their way, they stumble upon a bloodied stranger who begs their help. The stranger rambles on about a gang of butchers that hunted her and her brother down before capturing him. Although she initially begs the four friends to take her as far away from that place as fast as possible, she later pleads for their help in rescuing her brother. The friends want nothing to do with this and try to drop her out of the car but an accident occurs when a mysterious figure suddenly appears in the middle of the road. When they awaken, two of the friends have disappeared. Left with no other option but to journey back to the lake, the reluctant trio of survivors will have to face off against family of deranged killers seeking vengeance of their own.
