But when one of their own, Megatronus, betrays them, the unity of the Thirteen shatters, and a new darkness begins to rise. Milennia later, echoes of that betrayal return. A mysterious force begins unraveling time itself, as ancient Decepticon warlords--Nova Prime, Liege Maximo, and the reborn Fallen--unite to reclaim the Matrix and bend all of Cybertron to their will. As the cosmos teeters on the brink, the remaining Primes must set aside old scars and gather for one final stand. But as chaos spreads, a forgotten power stirs within the smallest among them--Micronus Prime, the Unifier--who may be the only hope of saving not just Cybertron, but the very essence of creation itself.
