Set several years after the events of the original film, the Pride Lands are once again thriving under the rule of Simba and Nala. Their daughter, Kiara, is now a headstrong young lioness who seeks adventure beyond the borders of her pride. As she ventures into the Outlands, Kiara meets and befriends Kovu, a young lion who is actually the son of Scar - Simba's old nemesis. Kovu is being trained by Scar's followers to become a powerful leader and destroy Simba's pride. However, Kovu's growing love for Kiara and his own conscience threaten his loyalty to his past and his destiny. With iconic songs like "My Lullaby," "Upendi," and "Love Will Find a Way," "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride - The Broadway Musical" explores the themes of love, family, and self-discovery. The musical is filled with stunning visuals, intricate costumes, and choreography that captures the essence of the African savanna. As Kiara and Kovu navigate their forbidden love, tensions rise between Simba and Kovu's mother, the fierce lioness Zira, who relentlessly seek revenge against Simba's pride.
