Victor Fries, a brilliant scientist, seeks a cryogenic cure for his terminally ill wife, Nora. An accident during a robbery escape after a jewelry heist transforms Fries into Mr. Freeze, a being who requires subzero temperatures to survive and whose wife is frozen solid.
