In the far reaches of the universe, Mace Yanfor, once a decorated war hero and now a destitute gunslinger, finds himself reuniting with an old flame, acid-tongued bounty hunter Luna Dahrkos. Sharing a score to settle against vicious warlord Volkar Greuel and obscenely wealthy war profiteers Bacia and Duvessa Fravel, the two plan the intergalactic crime of the millennium — orchestrating an elaborate heist alongside Mace's sister Trinah, a free-spirited pilot, and their ragtag team of accomplices, including notorious smuggler Irvin Gamick, disgraced combat officer-turned-rebellious revolutionary Huw Stamboel, scarred half-cybernetic street fighter Korben Xula, alcoholic explosives expert Baird Vitzki, master of disguise Namani Clem, and untraceable hacker Reylan Woyt — all the while the sparks between them begin to reignite.
