This takes place before Spider-Man: No Way Home. The Amazing Spider-Man 3 picks up right after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ending, starting the film with Spider-Man Vs The Rhino. After his fight with Rhino, Peter's grief begins to kick in again since the passing of his girlfriend, Gwen Stacey. Life starts to pick up a bit when he get his job as a Photographer at the Daily Bugle, with Spider-Man hating boss J.Jonah Jameson. Peter meets Eddie Brock fellow Daily Bugle Photographer.
