After being the bridesmaid for 3 of her best friends' weddings one being her ex-boyfriend and childhood best friend Ricky Barnes, Bailey Prescott decides to move from Alabama to Aberdeen, Washington for a better life after being bored of living in the state once she graduated. Once she arrives in Aberdeen, she self-funds her savings to open a Southern-style bakery. As she adapts to life in the West Coast, she meets grunge musician and recovering heroin addict, Daryl Lincoln. She realizes that Daryl is similar to Ricky in terms of personality. Despite her family's and Damon's concerns and warnings, she just can't resist him and his charm. Daryl has a secret that threatens to drive Bailey to move back to Alabama.
