Rotor is a calm, friendly, easygoing, and sort of clumsy 14-year-old mechanic under Uncle Chuck's wing. It is implied that during Chaotix Season 1, he was looking for a job that would put his skills to the test, and what would be a better job than being the junior mechanic under Uncle Chuck's tutelage? He has grown fond of Sonic these past few months, being the latest in the list of Sonic's new best friends. We first see Rotor with Muttski at the beginning, fixing up the Tornado with Tails. Although he helped build the hammer, and other devices Tails dreamed up, Uncle Chuck gave Rotor the responsibility to watch over, and if his soul moves him, improve Uncle Chuck's small home. Chuck knew Rotor needed a home, so he lets Rotor rent it until they return. He may be clumsy, but Uncle Chuck's residence could not be in more capable or trustworthy hands than Rotor's.
