Story Plot

Original Script Treatment from Trilogy Entertainment, 1994. The plot centers around a teenage boy named Jimmy Hedgeman (wearing a sweater that says "Sonic or Bust") who has to rescue his father from the evil "Dr. Paul Elleson" who's combining human DNA with animals to create a better world. Jimmy is exposed to some of that DNA which turns him into a fast blue hedgehog. He runs to island where other mutants live like a jungle girl named Amanda, and the fierce warrior Kentar (nicknamed Knuckles), and work together to help stop Paul Elleson from changing the world, save Jimmy's father and all the other mutants.

    Meanwhile in some alternate timeline: "Hello I'm The Nostalgia Critic I remember it so you don't have to, just when you think the Mario Movie is flimsy with its source material just wait until Sonic shows up and goes like "hey I can do that... but worse", today's subject being Sonic".

    @axiomman and probably jabs at the 90s CGI and jokes about the bizarre handling of Robotnik and line "seriously Gary, between this, Lost in Space and Quest for Camelot, what were you on?".

    These writers could've LITERALLY ripped off "Prince of Thieves", THEIR OWN WORK, and I guarantee it would've been more accurate to the games than... whatever THIS is.
