Long before he became a Skylander, Tri-Tip spent his years seeking out the Warping Walnut Tree and managed to snatch a Golden Walnut from the tree. Believing the walnut would reveal his true purpose when cracked, he spent many years forging a weapon that would crack it open, until he realized the true message it taught him—that his purpose was to protect Skylands with his skills. In the original games, he speaks with a deep, gruff voice.
