Character Description
Abused and molested by her father, Mia Dearden ran away at 11, falling into a prostitution ring with a pimp where she contracted HIV. When she was saved by Oliver Queen's Green Arrow, she wanted to fight at his side, even if he hesitated at first. Eventually accepting Mia as an ally, Ollie dubbed her the second Speedy, even helping Mia join the Teen Titans. A skilled archer like Ollie, Mia as Speedy makes use of a wide array of Trick Arrows, as well as training she has had in the martial arts, as she fights to help people of all kinds.
