Character Description
One of the greatest enemies of the Flash family, Eobard Thawne was a brilliant scientist in the 25th century, where he was in awe of the Flash. Emulating his hero, he traveled to the past, where he learned he would become the Flash's greatest enemy. Snapping, Eobard became known as the Reverse-Flash. The two battled, until Thawne's death before he was resurrected, awakening a link to the Negative Speed Force, the antithesis of the Speed Force, as he sets plans into motion to destroy his "idol" once and for all. Reverse-Flash has also been responsible for personal events in Barry's life, before many were negated thanks to Barry and Wally West's efforts.
