The twin brother to Jade, Todd, like his sister Jennie, was given up for adoption by their mother Rose Canton, who feared her split personality Thorn would try to kill them. Todd, however compared to Jennie, was left with an abusive adopted father, which had much to do with his mental state. Contrary to his father and sister, Todd's powers tie him to the Shadowlands, thanks to the influence of old JSA enemy Ian Karkull. Though Todd has dealt with a lot of mental issues, he has come to reform his life, now reunited with Jennie in the Justice League Task Force after some time in the JSA.
