Character Description
An atypical jock, Freddy Freeman would be crippled, needing crutches to move and lose his only remaining family, his grandfather Jacob. Taking him to Shazam, Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel watched as Freddy was able to gain the power of the word Shazam, becoming Captain Marvel Jr. or CM3 whenever he said "Captain Marvel!". Eventually, Freddy would become Billy's champion when he was guarding the Rock of Eternity, but now, with Shazam's second death, Freddy has grown to become Captain Marvel, sharing the title with Billy.
