Character Description
The longtime girlfriend of Mal Duncan, Karen used her scientific knowledge to make a costume like a bumblebee to be able to make Mal look good in front of the Teen Titans, which would lead her to become Bumblebee and join the Titans. Married and semi-retired, Mal and Karen would answer the call to help the Titans and other heroes. When they had been caught in a disaster during the second Crisis, Karen was shrunk permanently, needing special meds to keep her heart beating. Now thanks to Mal and the group Meta Solutions, Karen has triggered her metagene, able to shrink and grow at will.
