Eric McKnight is the twin brother of Conner McKnight, who left to study at the Wind Ninja Academy. He came home when he heard that Conner was in trouble and monsters were attacking his home town. After learning the truth about his brother and the Dino Thunder Rangers, he accidentally absorbed Conner's Red Ranger Triassic Mode powers and became the Triassic Ranger.
