Fan Casting The Beginning

Jason awakes in a dark, destroyed building, tied to a chair. After fleeing the facility he quickly realizes that its not just the building that is filled with darkness, destruction and death but also the entire metropolis city around it. Zombified wild mutants are running around the city on a killing spree while the military is desperately trying to fight them off. He slowly remembers his past as a professional thief, having been recruited by a wealthy blackmarket dealer and mafia boss to steal the newly discovered "box of pandora". After successfully infiltrating the museum it was kept in, he touches and therefore activates the box, unleashing the curse on the world that is currently destroying it. He too is injected with the curse, but is granted weird powers instead, making him as strong, agile and resistant as those monsters on the streets. His journey follows the secret of the box, the soul trapped inside of it and the ancient alien civilization behind it, uncovering the disturbing truth about the true origin of humankind - fusing ancient mythology/religion with surreal sci-fi. Traveling different worlds and locations he fights off/ cooperates with different people and groups, slowly uncovers the truth about this world, who is controlling the unfolding events and how he may reverse them, as well as who he can trust and what that power and identity, that have befallen him, are all about. Unfortunately, Jason will have to learn the hard way.
