On The Run is a gripping drama film that explores the complex relationship between two childhood friends, Yuko Nagasawa and Percy Miller. When Percy discovers that Yuko is trapped in an abusive marriage, he decides to take matters into his own hands and plans to kill her husband as an act of love and protection. However, Yuko is filled with both disgust and fear at prospect of killing her own husband alongside Percy, creating a rift between them. As they navigate their conflicting emotions they turn to each other for support and discover the challenging nature of their relationship.
