Iceman will be straight in the first movie, with hints to his true sexuality but come out as gay early in the second. And despite having a youthful energy, I do actually want him to be slightly older than the rest of the young X-Men, my version of Iceman is like that guy from college who was actually in his late 20's but hang out with all the 18-21 year old students and fitted in. I also want him to be older as A), I don't want him to have a relationship with Rogue, B) I want him to have a friendly chemistry with Powell's Human Torch and C), I just really want Joe Keery. He's perfect for the character!
