four years afte rthe events of the second film, when they enter the world cup in England. Jamie Jones (Charlie Plummer) now is age 25 year-old playing for the same football team and engaged to his girlfriend Ashley (Talia Ryder), the next day his mother Mindy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) was diagnosed with breast cancer and she was unable to date her son's girlfriend's father David McGunn (Cillian Murphy).
