Character Description
Mary Hatch is the love of George's life and is the mother of their four children. She is a loving, kind-hearted woman who has loved George since childhood and is willing to help her friends and family when they need her. When George begins to experience financial hardships and plans on committing suicide, Mary manages to get their family and friends to raise enough money to pay for the missing money, having saved her husband and their family from ruin.
