Fan Casting Clarence Odbody in It's a Wonderful Life

As George's guardian angel, Clarence Odbody is an Angel Second Class (AS2) who has yet to earn his wings after 200 years. When George Bailey plans to commit suicide on Christmas Eve, believing that it will solve all of his problems, Clarence is sent to Earth to save George from a terrible fate and he shows him how much he means to his friends and family and what life would be like if he never existed. When George finally appreciates everything good in his life, he comes home a changed man and Clarence finally earns his wings.
