Story Plot

The film tells an alternate history story of two plots to assassinate Nazi Germany's leadership, one planned by Shosanna Dreyfus , a young French Jewish cinema proprietor, and the other by the British but ultimately conducted solely by a team of Jewish American soldiers led by First Lieutenant Aldo Raine.

    Initially, I was unsure of Orson Welles as director, but then I remembered reading the Big Brass Ring and My Lunches with Orson and remembered that Welles could switch between funny and dramatic at the drop of a hat, much like a Tarantino film. This would no doubt have been a wild romp of a film if Welles had made it. And Conrad Veidt as Hans Landa is an inspired choice. Great Job.

    @castingsinmyblood Orson has this " Bigger Than Life" Cocky attitude enough to handle Inglorious Basterds ..
