Story Plot
In Guillermo del Toro's darker and gritty reboot of the Lion King in the style of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, James Cameron's Avatar and Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, it follows a young lion, Simba, who flees his kingdom when his father, Mufasa, is murdered by his uncle, Scar. After growing up in exile, Simba returns home to confront his uncle and reclaim his throne.
